Introduction
The feedback received from the schools involved in the 2009 Songs from Stones project clearly showed that the project successfully delivered the skills based curriculum in a unique and engaging way, and provided challenging yet high quality experiences for the teachers and pupils involved in the project.
The animation education project will run each year until 2013, extending to a range of medieval and Roman sites across Wales.
The films shown here are the product of the 2010 project, and are the school and youth group interpretations of the medieval Castles of north east Wales - Denbigh, Ewloe, Flint, and Rhuddlan.
These films have been made by Ewloe Green Primary School in Deeside, Rhuddlan County Primary School, Cornist Park Primary School in Flint, Heulfre Primary School in Denbigh, and a specially constituted Menter Iaith youth group based in Mold. Cadw would like to thank all the participants for all their hard work and for producing amazing artwork.
